Hello everyone! I have had a crazy time with my computer lately. I love them but hate them all the same. I haven't been able to blog forever and now my photo shop doesn't work. I know cry me a river. Anyhow Chase was asked to model for the Browning Catalog and I have NEVER seen him so EXCITED to take pictures before. He made money, was able to wear "Hunting Clothes" and could not wait for the magazine to hit stores. Wow, my little guy is a model. I knew all the practice would come in handy. Here is the magazine. I thought I would share. Wish me luck that my photo shop gets back up and running. Thanks for following and have a great 2012.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I have so much to be thankful for this year.
I'm so thankful for my family. I'm so very lucky to be able to have two wonderful kids. Many of you don't know but I was very blessed to have the two. Dan and I always wanted a big family (5 kids). I know that many out there can't have any and I am very blessed to have Katelyn and Chase. A boy and a girl.
I'm so thankful for Dan's job and what it provides for our family and extended family.
I'm thankful for living in such a picturesque place. I love where I live.
I'm so thankful for our Christmas Gift from my mom! She took us to the most magical place on earth. DISNEYLAND. I was able to see Disneyland at Christmas time. It was MAGICAL. Check that off my bucket list.
I hope you all enjoy this holiday season and eat lots of turkey and goodies. YUM!!!

Katelyn turned fifteen on November 3, 2011 and she forbid me to throw her a party. I felt like my right arm was cut off. So I told her "I was the mother and I was still making her a cake"! She said she was fine with that and she invited some friends over for a "GET TOGETHER." I love throwing parties, I love planning for them and finding decorations, making and sending invitations and I felt jipped!!!! Oh well I still managed to have a Little Fun. Happy Birthday Bugs. Everyone watch the road because she will be getting her drivers permit.

This picture totally cracks me up... If you can't find Katelyn she is the bobble head on the bottom. Girls...

I have to say I got the idea for this cake from Julie Parker. It's a carnival cake with old postcards made out of icing. Okay I didn't make it either. Fresh Market made it. Yes! Fresh Market and it was only $67.00! Bargain, for a cake that size! It was yummy too except for the postcards tasted like cardboard icing.

I love these pictures of Chase. These are the pictures I'm going to cherish when he grows big and flies the coop. We carved this pumpkin together. We always design it on a piece of paper then he scoops out the insides of the pumpkin and I cut it. Teamwork...

This photo shoot was like an AHA moment. The stars alined and everything worked out just the way I'd hoped, actually better then I'd dreamed. It only took us 20 minutes of shooting and we were done with some really cool pictures. This was one of my favorite photo shoots EVER! I drove Katelyn out to this corn field and while we were shooting the farmer started to burn the field. AWESOME! It gave it that cool, moody look I could have only dreamed of. Hope you like them. Thanks Katelyn for always being such a good sport.

The 4th Grade SUPER BOWL

Chase played in the 3rd and 4Th grade Superbowl yesterday. Dan coaches and their team WON, 36 to 6. Wild man Chase scored 3 of the touchdowns. It was a cold night and they played the Titans. It was so fun to watch their team play. Dan and Bryant had those boys practiced and in fighting, football form. Thanks to the Chargers and their parents for a great football season. Oh and just a little side note. This is the 2nd year in a row his team has won the football Superbowl.

It was so cold this past Spring. I managed to get some beautiful shots of Katelyn and my favorite blossoming tree.

I love this picture of Katelyn even though you can't see her face. I love the way it was finished with what looks like fog in the background. I guess I love the atmosphere that surrounds her.

The Airplane Shoot! It's finally done and I'm so excited to share it with you. The girls have been so excited to see the pictures. We took them June 30, 2011. First Day of School August 22, 2011

The first day of school is always a bitter sweet feeling for me. On one hand I'm sad they are going back. I like the company. I like sleeping in. I like going to bed LATE. I like doing things as a family. On the other hand. I like the freedom and alone time to get things done. I like the schedule. I like the structure.

This year Katelyn is a freshman. Thank goodness it's still in Junior High. I'm not ready for a High School er.

Chase is starting 4th Grade. He is so excited because he has a male teacher. The teacher goes out to recess and plays football with the boys.

My friend Heather posted this poem to her face book wall. I thought it was SO DARLING. I wanted to share it...

Twas the night before school started, when all through the town,
the parents were cheering...
It was a riotous sound!
By 8, kids were washed and tucked into bed...
Where memories of homework filled them with dread!
New pencils, new folders, new notebooks too!
New teachers, new friends...
Their anxiety grew!

Summer Days 2011

Summer always goes by in a blink of an eye. We mostly played baseball, went to dance and watched baseball. We tried to squeeze in a few Lagoon trips, the zoo, pool, sleep-overs, star-gazing and motorcycle rides. (We always fight to see who gets to ride on the back of Dan's motorcycle.) Why does summer have to go by so quickly? Part of me is ready and part of me feels like I didn't get anything accomplished this summer. I'm not ready for the snow to fall.

This will be a long post. I'm highlighting a few things we did this summer. Starting with the Big SF Rodeo. It's a huge hit with our family.

Then their was the mud volleyball... I don't know what it is with Katelyn and her love of mud? She did come clean.

Oh no he didn't.

Oh yes he did.

Katelyn and Allie Cat were in the Duct Tape Boat Regatta. They built there boat and then raced it on our pond. I was so proud of them. They won their race. Way to go girls. Allie's family always seem to win the whole thing year after year. I think this is their 5th year in the boat race. It's Katelyn's 2nd. Next year we are going to get Chase and Brad to race a boat. Next year we will train and get down to business so we can win those T-shirts.

First you build the boat from a huge flat piece of cardboard. Then you duck tape the crap out of it so it won't sink. Katelyn spent time curling her hair before the race. She planned on spending ZERO TIME in the water... Dan and Mindy were a huge help in building the boat. I was on the pict crew. (That's picture crew my friends.)

The finished product, with a little bit of decoration. It was funny because they spray painted it purple and blue to match their shirts they were wearing. Smart girls, always thinking.

A little motivation doesn't hurt.

Brandon gave them a good start. They were trailing two boys in the "Dirty Pickle".

The "Dirty Pickle" tipped over and the girls made their move. The boys tried to push them back and over turn their boat but the girls hung on and paddled hard.

The girls winning their race. Katelyn was so excited because this newspaper guy was there and asked them for their names. We are still waiting to see if they made it into the paper.

Some creative people make their boats a head of time and they are so cool. Maybe next year we will come up with something really creative.

I took these pictures of the kiddos in May and I'm finally posting them. This bunny was so cute and his best friend is a huge, fluffy, white dog. They brought them together because it calms down the bunny.

Chase's 10th Birthday Party/ July 17, 2011

Chase turned 10 years old. I remember the cute, little, blond, curly haired boy running around like it was yesterday. Now he is turning 10. I know I say this all the time but really where does the time go? I love Chase. He is such a lovable kid. He loves waffles every morning before school, he loves to snuggle and will tell you how much he loves you. I swear he could hit the baseball when he was one year old. He lives sports and can't ever be with out a friend. Happy Birthday Bud.
We had a County Fair Rodeo Party. There is always a ton of boys invited and believe me there could be even more. He always has such a hard time making out the invitations. He never wants to leave anyone out. This year we played county fair games like flip the penny on the plate, basketball and the bottle toss. I had Sam, Katelyn, Cooper and Keene help me with the games. MaKay added some excitement with his girly present and Chase turned bright red, while everyone laughed. I think Chase had a great birthday. Here are the highlights:

Trent Willmon Concert July 16, 2011

Dan was so excited to have Trent Willmon out for a concert near his home town. Trent is such an amazing singer and song writer. If you haven't listened to his music I hope you pull him up on itunes or google his CD because you will LOVE his music. We saw Trent in Nashville but never got to hear him perform. Dan scheduled him to sing in Utah and he did not let us down. It was FANTASTIC.

This is Marcus he came out with Trent to play fiddle and guitar. What a talented guy.

The lighting was terrible but the music was phenomenal.

Park City July 15, 2011

We had a really fun time in Park City staying with Synergy. (Dan's Company). We stayed over night in this really neat hotel. Chase and the cousins swam in the pool while Katelyn relaxed in bed watching animal planet.

Chase is always the last one out of the pool. I really think he was supposed to be born a fish.

For The Love Of Mud

These past couple of weeks have been full of family vacations to Park City, baseball games, birthday parties, concerts, mud fights and photo shoots. I came home from a photo shoot to see my child covered in mud. You would think it to be Chase but NO. It was my beautiful, blond daughters, Katelyn and Shayla. I consider Shayla my daughter. They say they were out riding the four wheeler when they got caught in a rain storm and since they were already muddy! What was a little more? They are enjoying their summer break I'd say!

Let's just say I have been really enjoying this summer. It was a bumpy start with all the crazy weather. Now I'm catching up on all the fun. Wondering if anyone else is loosing their minds? Today I drove up to a drive through, gave the guy my money and realized I didn't order. WHAT! Who does that? Me! I totally embarrassed Katelyn and her friends. He he just one of those days!!!

Here is a post I'm working on. I'm calling it The Airplane photo shoot. If you have any suggestions on names I would love to hear it!

Oh and I have to say I am now into watching womens FOOTBALL. Yes I'm jumping on the wagon and no longer calling it soccer. GO USA!!! Did you see the womens football game against BRAZIL? Wow, what a sport. AWESOME

Country Music Awards, Nashville Tennessee June 2011

Dan and I flew to Nashville, Tennessee for the country music festival. We had such a fantastic time with Joel and Julie and Julie's mom Sonia. I seriously need a vacation from my vacation. Those southerners really know how to party. We were up wee into the morning hours, hardly slept and then did it all over again day after day. Phew. This is going to be a long post because I couldn't cut it down.

The first day we got there who did we happen to run into? Chris Young...That's who... I really didn't know a lot of the country music stars when I landed in Nashville, but thanks to Dan, Julie, Joel and Sonia I was schooled really quickly. Not to mention all the concerts we went to.

The Grand Ole Opry. Yee haw we saw Martina McBride, Lady A, Darius Rucker, Oakridge Boys, Jared Niemann, Bill Anderson and Carrie Underwood.

The River. People, people, people and concerts every day.

During the day you could go next door to our hotel and see tons of country stars and you could wait in line to have your picture taken with them. I cheated and just took their picture with my really long telephoto lens.

One day we went to the cutest little town called Franklin. I'm in love with this town. I would love to live there, except it's so dang HOT.

We ate at this place called Dotsons. It was down home Southern food run by a little old man and his family. So yummy. If you ever get down that way stop in and try a bite.

This plantation house was in the middle of the Battle of Franklin. It was really interesting to read and learn about what took place. It was also very beautiful.

Leipers Fork is another cute, adorable, little country town. It was like stepping back into the life of the Dukes of Hazzard. Which happend to be my favorite show while I was growing up.

Naomi Judd and Wynona Judd buy their groceries here. (So I'm told).

Now for all the rest of the fun concerts we attended at LP Stadium. So much fun. This was the openning to Rascal Flatts. (See them in the middle?) I have to thank Joel for getting these pictures for us. I was to lazy to get out of my seat:0)

We were able to get VIP tickets for the Blake Shelton fan party. We were 5 out of 50 who were able to have special VIP status. We ate dinner and had our picture taken with good ole Blake Shelton, he loves to hug and is really tall.

Show Me How To Burlesque

Katelyn did a solo dance routine to "Show Me How To Burlesque." It was a jazz routine that Joni choreographed for her. It competed really well and I loved watching her perform it. Her costume was made by Lisa Anderson and it was PERFECT for the routine. Thanks to Joni and Lisa for jobs well done.

Dan was asked to speak at the Jackson Emery and Jimmer Fredette basketball camp. He represented True Players and did a fantastic job. I don't know about you but Jimmer Fredette is LOVED by my whole household and pretty much by the whole state. Chase was so lucky to get a picture with his HERO the very FIRST picture taken of the whole camp. Lucky son of a gun. If you don't love Jimmer Fredette I think you have never seen him play....

Spring Training Tournament Champions 2011

We won the Spring Training Tournament. The final score was 19-3. We played the Rebels to win it in just five innings and the bitter cold. Congratulations to all the team. You did it guys. You should feel really good about a tournament well played. Oh ya we went UNDEFEATED. Way to play boys.

The fans that came to support our team in the BITTER COLD. It was well worth it.

Hayden plays on the High School Team. All these boys LOVE to watch Hayden play. It was a real treat that Hayden came to watch the boys play and WIN the Championship game...

Oh my it has been a whirlwind March. I was in St. George for Baseball then flew to Phoenix, Arizona for Senior Pictures then back to St. George for a dance competition. Then home again where I hosted my sister and her family for Spring Break. Calgon take me away. (Remember that commercial) okay maybe you don't but I just want to soak in the tub, read a good book and get a good nights sleep in my own bed. Is that asking to much?

Ice Castles Feb. 28, 2011

Yes! We made it to the ice castles this year in Midway, Utah. It was a close call. I wanted to go last year really bad but we didn't make it. This year it was getting down to the wire and I just told myself we were going. I hate to say it but I actually took my kids out of school to go see these ice castles and it was well worth the trip. We had so much fun. They are so cool! ha ha double meaning. Okay so it's late. The Ice Castles will be back next year in Midway, Utah and I highly suggest you go. The Ice Castles had caves and tunnels that you walk through it was really a lot larger then I thought it was going to be. Here is a peek inside our trip.

We went during the day so we didn't get to see it at night. I'm thinking...NEXT YEAR.

I think it's fitting that I post these pictures today. I'm really missing Hawaii. It has been raining here all day long.
Every year Dan's company takes their top distributors to destinations worldwide for a getaway. We play, hardly work and enjoy each others company. This year we had people representing Japan, Korea, Europe, and North America. Just to name a few. This year we went to Maui, Hawaii. We just love Hawaii. Here is a huge post. ENJOY!

Here is the Synergy Group who went this year.

We woke up really early to get on the snorkeling boat. Here is the sunrise before a fun filled snorkeling trip. The weather was a little windy and the water was a little cold but we saw LOTS of whales and DOLPHINS, what a treat.

The guys loved body surfing onto the beach. They had smiles plastered from ear to ear. Well that was when they weren't being knocked around by the huge waves.

Have you ever found yourself chasing a butterfly? I have and it was well worth the embarrassment.

We drank plenty of Virgin Pina Colodas Yum. They are my favorite.

Here are some beautiful scenic pictures I took. I think Hawaii could very well be paradise. Hawaii has a smell to the island. It smells like the most fragrent flowers and the food is sooooo goooood. I would know because I gained 5 pounds.

The sunsets here take your breath away they are so beautiful.

Something that Synergy always does wherever we go is give something back to those in need. It's called the Legacy foundation. These kids are so happy and grateful for everything you gave them. Thanks for being so giving Synergy.

We always end the trip with a Synergy Luau. This year we got rained out. I think it was the only day it rained. We still managed to have a great time.

Basketball Champions Feb. 26, 2011

We are the Champions my friends. Okay as a mom I get to brag about my kid for a minute. Chases basketball team the FLASH took first place in the 3rd grade league. Not only did they take 1st place they were UNDEFEATED. YES THEY NEVER LOST ONE GAME. Wahoo. The best part is Chases coach named him MVP, yup MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. Chase I'm so proud of you. Good job little Jimmer. The coach also gave all the boys two tickets to the next college basketball game. Chase is taking Katelyn as his date. A big Thank You to Chases COACH you did a fantastic job and congrats on your WINNING SEASON.

Chase came to me this morning and told me he couldn't fit into his basketball shoes anymore and his toes were scrunched to the very end. I made him play with his scrunched toes because it was the last double header of the season. I didn't want to buy him a new pair of shoes just so he could out grow them before next year. Well anyway he played like a CHAMPION and didn't even complain until he got home and saw his big blisters on the ends of his toes. Sorry Chase but on the bright side, it didn't even slow you down.

I looked out my window this morning and what to my wondering eyes should appear? Okay I'm just waiting for the fat man and his eight tiny reindeer. Hello! Arctic weather I think it's supposed to be ALMOST SPRING. Will be posting Hawaii pictures tomorrow. You will enjoy them if where you live looks like this!

Here is a post for all of you dreaming of a warmer climate. I live in the Arctic cold,(well thats how if feels.)and my husbands company went to Maui for there getway this year. It was so warm and amazing to have the sun beat down on my poor dried out skin. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. I just love Hawaii. Dans distributors are great too. Here is the rest of our FUN, SUNDANCE weekend. The uncles took Katelyn snowboarding. Joel took off like an olympic skier, racing down the hill and Sam waited and skied down with Katelyn. When they finally caught up to Joel Katelyn goes "Joel you have to be safe and ski with a buddy!" and he replied "Katelyn the whole mountain is covered with people. I have plenty of buddies if I need one." I'm so glad I taught my daughter well. Doesn't that just sound like Joel? Thanks Sam for skiing with Katelyn. Dan and I didn't have the energy since we were dieting to lose weight for Hawaii. (That post is coming up.)

I have been eating really healthy and all I have been able to think about is food. I bought this really cute cupcake maker. (Everyone should have one, they are so fun.) and entertained us all with the girls baking CUPCAKES. Okay eating them was the best. I didn't get to eat one of course but the SMELL was divine.

I know I'm a brat what can I say? I've been enjoying some VACATION TIME. Dans Mom and Dad gave the family a great Christmas Gift. A trip to Sundance to stay for the weekend in a CABIN. Here comes the post. Abbie I know has been waiting for these sledding pictures for forever.
Can I just say I have the best in-laws a girl could ask for. Really we all have soooo much fun together. I have the pictures to prove it. Thanks for such a wonderful time. We sure made some wonderful memories. I know that sounds so cheesy to my ears too.

Of Course I missed the getting Plastered with snow so I took the finished product and then we Re-created it. Ha ha ha soooo much fun.

I have no idea where Averi is in all the winter sledding fun. Sidney and Katelyn were the winners of All the races.

I have been editing so many pictures lately that I swear I'm going cross eyed. Here are some fun pictures I took at the Pumpkin Land Pumpkin Patch. It was great to have Jess and the kids come down so we could all go together. We had so much fun they had to practically kick us out. We were the very last ones to leave the building. Mime bought us all a pumpkin to carve for Halloween.

I don't know which one of these next two I like the best, so I'm showing them both to you.

I love this picture of Leah. Her eyes are so blue they almost look violet against her purple shirt. My sister's family all have the most amazing colored eyes. I would say blue but sometimes they are a sea grass green.

This is my absolute favorite picture of Anna. She reminds me of Ellie Mae Clampet for some reason. I guess it could be the plaid shirt, blonde hair, big blue eyes, and pony tails. I got Anna and Leah ready for Pumpkin Land. Arn't they so cute?

Katelyn had her 14th B-day. What a great daughter she is. She is loyal, funny, responsible, kind, adventurous, (can't miss) PHOTOGENIC, spirited, sweet and my precious baby girl. OK I guess she is 14 years older then the baby I once held in my arms and sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer too. That was the only way we could get her to sleep. Happy Birthday "Princess". Happy Birthday Sean/ More of Gardners Village

I had to post these last few of my favorite pictures of Gardner's Village for my brother in law Sean. We almost lost him about a month ago. He had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital where he had two stints put into his heart. Now he is taking Pro Argi 9 and is keeping it under control. So all you folks that have heart disease that runs in your family. You better keep on top of it. Sean was as healthy as they come. Played Soccer ALL THE TIME. Lifted weights four times a week. Watched what he ate. He is SKINNY and only in his 30's. We are so thankful that he is still with us. Sean is a GREAT husband to my sister Jessica and a wonderful Father and Brother-in-law. He is one of those hands on DADS. Jessica and Sean go everywhere together. They are the best of friends. We couldn't have survived with out you Sean. It makes my heart sick that we almost lost you. We love you and happy birthday. Hope you love the pictures of the little monsters. HE,HE. I asked Sean what he wanted for his birthday and he wants more PRO ARGI 9.

I had taken another picture like this one below. The kids looked so adorable in it and then the two parents had their eyes closed. Sean and Jessica do you know how to count? 1 2 3 CHEESE? I still loved this one though. It's candid.

I know this next picture will be one of your favorites. There is nothing like a bond that a Father and Daughter have. Anna has you wrapped around her little, tiny pinky.

The Superbowl

Wow, who knew that flag football could be so exciting? Dan's team the Patriots played our best friends team the Dolphins for the Superbowl. It was such an exciting game. Chase played awesome and juked like no other. He scored a touchdown on a return and caught a pass with his finger tips on a fourth down (which was scary) and made a first down in the last seconds of the game. Then with one second left on the clock and the score was tied 26 to 26 Tristen made a throw to Hunter in the end zone for a winning touch down. Our crowd went wild. This game is one to remember. The cool thing is both teams are best friends. The coaches are friends and the players are friends. Most of the boys on both teams play baseball together on the same team. Both teams should feel really good about a fantastic season. The game was a nail biter and the score went back and forth until the last seconds of the game. I'm so proud of Dan and the other coaches for taking a team who couldn't even catch the ball at the beginning of the season to true blue football players. That is a winning coach.

Hayden you are a great kid. Thanks for coming and supporting the boys. They idolize you and look up to you. You are their hero. They couldn't believe the star and winning quarterback of the Don's football team would show up to watch them. It really meant so much to all of us. Your great!

When I asked Hayden why he came by to watch our Superbowl he said "They come to support me, I wanted to support them." I thought that was the greatest thing ever. Jenny, you should be so proud of your son. I know I am.

Follow Your Art Workshop Park City Utah, Sept. 17-19, 2010

I recently attended the Follow Your Art photography workshop in Park City Utah. Can you say AMAZING. It was AMAZING. Tiffany is truly an artist. It was so fun to be mentored by Tiffany (who I consider one of the BEST in the business). We had a fantastic group, great weather, gorgeous models, colorful scenery and the perfect teacher. I had one of the best times of my life (and that's saying a lot) because I've had some pretty great times. I think it's important for a photographer to always keep learning and growing as an individual and I hope you can see that in my work. Check my photography blog out for more fantastic shots of the workshop. Tiffany asked us at the beginning of the workshop how we would describe our style. I would say mine is Creative, Flirty, Colorful, Stylish, Illuminating. If any of you ever have an opportunity to take one of her workshops. You will love it. Thanks Tiffany for a job well done. Oh and I must say, check out this beautiful, blonde, bombshell.

Big Boy Turned Nine In July.

I'm alive. You won't believe this but my computer CRASHED. It was a sad, sad couple of weeks until I could get up and running again. I guess it couldn't take all the pictures I've been working on. Oh well I LOVE my new computer and they were able to save all my pictures I hadn't backed up yet.

Chases birthday party was a real hit. He invited 19 friends but two couldn't come, so we had a total of 17 friends at the birthday party. CRAZY LADY is right. I don't know how I survived. I guess it was the help of Dan, Mimi, Katelyn and Alli. Yes I made the birthday cake. I was so proud of myself. A week a head of the party Chase and I watched how to frost a birthday cake on the Internet. I really learned a lot. His cake turned out so cute and I made it a few days ahead and kept it in the fridge. It stayed moist and yummy. WaHoo. They played games, won prizes, opened presents and played fugitive with quite a few Dads in the neighborhood. The kids LOVE the game of fugitive. They played it all summer long. It all started with Katelyn's party. The "Cop" drops you off somewhere away from your house then the kiddos have to make it home, in the dark, before they are found by the cop who is patrolling in the car with flash lights. You have to use your brain and a lot of stealth. It doesn't hurt if your a fast runner. I think the Dads have just as much fun playing as the kids. The party lasted about 4 hours and later that night I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.

Burrrrrr Lake

The kids love to go to Bear Lake. We have such a fun time staying with all the cousins on Dan's side. The water was frigid but the kids don't seem to mind. We stayed a full week. We watched the kids swim, play in the sand, miniature golf, swim, and miniature golf some more. Here are a few of the highlights:

The bike was so fun, (for the first 15 min.) by the time our hour was up, I was DEAD TIRED.

Kristen and Katelyn coming in from riding the boat. If you look close you can see the goose bumps on their legs. Burrrrrrr.

Hurry Chase and get out of there. Hypothermia sets in in 15 minutes. I think there were still ice burgs floating in it. Bear Lake totally freezes over in the winter and they ice fish on it. No Lie.

Alivia playing in the sand while Emma and Molly went to get water for there sand castle. She wasn't smiling for any pictures today. She had a job to do.

This little guy looks sweet, adorable and calm but he is his fathers son. Scott wasn't with us this trip because he was in Europe. Peyton here did his father proud by keeping us all on our toes. I was so tired at the end of everyday just watching Jessica try to keep up with this cute, little cyclone.

I think Jens got the wrong end of the stick. I bet his legs are blue from standing in that water to pitch the ball to Chase.

We just got back from Bear Lake. I call it Burrrr Lake because you get hypothermia if you step foot in the water. Here is a picture of 3 of my little nieces, Emma, Molly and Alivia. They are the cutest little chickadees. More to come.

The Boat Race

The scouting boat regatta. Dan was out of town and I realized Chase had to make his boat for scouts. I totally knew what to do. I picked up the phone and called Grandpa Duane. Duane took the helm and knew exactly what to do. Phew! Thanks Grandpa Duane. What would we do without you. When race day came Chase was a little shy. When it was his turn he would blow really timid into the sail. I'm recording everything and I'm yelling blow harder, blow faster, come on little buddy YOU CAN DO IT. (Nacho Libre Movie). My favorite quote. His boat wasn't the fastest but it sure was the best looking.

My mom retired. After 30 years of teaching. She finally hung up her whistle, turned out the lights and the left the building. I'm sure it's not going to be the last time she returns. She loves those kids and I bet she goes back to substitute. My sister Jessica, Chase and I drove down to southern utah and suprised her. Jess had a few tricks up her sleeve and we entertained the class a little while. We took her out to lunch at the Sagebrush Cafe. It was really good food. I love going home. Chase couldn't understand how I knew everyone. I never went to this elementary school, but Jessica did.

Mom whatcha going to do with all your free time? Travel, Garden, Read, and watch plenty of Baseball Games just to name a few.

Baseball. I thought I disliked that word. When Dan and I were first married, every weekend he would drag me to tournament after tournament so he could play. I couldn't understand the love he had for the game. He dragged me every where. All over Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho. ALL OVER TARNATION. The best part was I made some great friends, as I sat there watching him play every weekend. I thought baseball was Okay but didn't love it. I could have been doing a MILLION other things, I would have enjoyed more. Well, the years have passed and now I get to watch Chase play ball and I LOVE IT. Who would have thought. There is something very special for me to watch Dan coach Chase. I see that love Dan has for baseball come out into the kids. We have a great team and most important we are all friends. Life couldn't be sweeter.
