Katelyn The Softball Player

Katelyn loves softball and she takes it really seriously. She puts on her mean, get down to business face and strikes girls out. YES. She wants to find an excellerated team she can play on. She was so sad when the season ended. Dad, Chase and I had a great time watching you play.

I told Katelyn she needed to slide when the play was at home, or the ump would call her out. She said "mom it wasn't even close." So I showed her this picture. Ha Ha ha ha Mom's are always right.

Making it home on another hit.

6th grade graduation

I haven't quite recovered from my oldest daughter Katelyn graduating from the sixth grade. I'm still curled up in a fetal position, bawling my eyes out because she is no longer a little girl but a beautiful young woman. Blah ha ha. Finally here is a few of her graduation pictures. She graduated on May 29, 2009. I love you Katelyn. You will always be mommies little girl.

June Showers Bring April Flowers

Since the weather wants to act like it's still Spring. I'm going to post my favorite Tulip pictures. It's a tradition with my family to always go see the tulips in bloom at Thanksgiving Point. My sister was supposed to go and she did but, since it was raining she left the boys with me and headed home with the girls. The beauty was worth sometimes walking in the rain. I'm so thankful for my family and the beauty that is all around us. Always take time to stop and smell the tulips.

More Baseball

True Players baseball. We love watching baseball in the summer time. Although it has not felt like summer since it has been raining cats and dogs. Chase is hitting, fielding, pitching so well. I remember the day when Chase was 1 years old and I would take him to the park to play baseball. He could hit the ball at 1 years old when I pitched it to him. I didn't dream about a little baseball player, I just wanted to wear him out so he would sleep longer then 15 minutes. Ready for the game

Out at 2nd.

I love how he gets ready to hit the ball. Calling time and swinging the bat like a big leaguer.

Away it goes. He made it to 2nd base.

McKay hit him home. Safe.

True Players Baseball

Baseball, Baseball, Baseball....that is what we have been doing. Here McKay hit a triple and brought Chase in. The catcher missed the throw to home and McKay came in. Chase wanted to celebrate by beating on poor McKay. It was very exciting. More fun baseball photos to come.

PARADISE

Dan took me away for a true, blue vacation. All we did was sit on our butts in the pool, soaking up the sun and eating chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Awesome. I got to sleep in every morning. The only draw back was having to sit in the pool next to Tamara who looks amazing with no makeup on, not to mention the long, skinny legs and naturally blonde hair. No Fair.
Dan and I were supposed to go to Costa Rica but because of the (you guessed it) Swine, stinkin, overratted, flu our trip was called off. Dan decided to take me to Hawaii instead of committing me to the mental institution. I sooooooo needed a break. Life has been Crazy. I know May is a killer for everyone. You'll have to check out the photography blog. I've been busy. After taking the red eye home we went straight to Chase's ball game. After watching his first game, Katelyn and I left for her National Competition were I sat and watched until 10:30 pm drove home. (Not quite sure how I made it home.) By the time I finally got into bed it was 12:00 am I had been up for 48 straight hours. Now I need another vacation. That is how my May has been. Going from one thing to the next.
Dan, Suzanna, Tamara and Dan. Some nice lady took this for us. We were really dark so I had to lighten us up. I was in to big of a hurry. It looks like we are glowing.

See what I mean having to sit by Tamara. We have had some fun experiences traveling together.

This is a view from our balcony. Right off the beach.
