We have had bad, rainy, weather so we really appreciated this view and took a picture off my back deck.

It's Officially Christmas Season
Labels:
Pond Lighting
It's officially Christmas season now. We went to see the pond lights turned on. I love where we live it is so beautiful. After that we jumped in the warm car and headed over to the light parade and then finished up the night with some yummy chocolate donuts. We had so much fun we didn't get to bed until 10:00 pm. HE HE Don't tell my sister Jessica we had the kids up so late. They aren't used to seeing the stars come out at night. Oh well. When they stay at Aunt Suzie's house we PARTY. Fun Fun Fun all the time. I got to keep Jess's kiddies so her and Sean could have some R and R before the new baby comes. We had a really fun time. More to come.
Thanksgiving Day
We loved spending Thanksgiving with my sister Jessica, her husband Sean, Mason, Carter, Anna and Mimi. We had it at my house. I'm so glad my mom was there to give out the orders because if you know me I'm not a good cook. Dan cooked the turkey and it turned out wonderful. Everything was yummy and no one got sick. Yea.

I'm Thankful For
Our little Pocahontas and Pilgram.
It's almost Thanksgiving and I wanted to write the things I'm most thankful for:
1. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
2. My wonderful family. My life would be empty and meaningless with out these first two. My family is my life and I enjoy every minute with them. I feel so very blessed to have two beautiful kids. They weren't easy to get here and I thank my father in heaven everyday that I have them. For them I am truly grateful. I'm grateful for Dan. For the man I fell in love with and who will stand by my side on this journey called life.
3. My extended family. For who they are, what they teach me and for the love they show us.
4. Wonderful friends. Who lift me up, laugh with me and love me for who I am.
5. For Dans Work. (Synergy Worldwide) For what it provides for our family. The people we are able to meet and call friends, the opportunities that have openned up for us because of those wonderful people. Nations coming together in peace.
I wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Take time to think about what you are thankful for. Gobble Gobble.
P.S. This Thanksgiving Katelyn wanted to make the menu. NO TURKEY, NO POTATOES and GRAVY, NO STUFFING and NO HOMEMADE ROLLS. She would like Steak with soy sauce this year. What planet did she come from?

Girls Loved Twilight
Labels:
The Movie Twilight
From left to right moms and daughters. (Grandma Kathy, Bailey, Suzanna, Katelyn, Mindy, Allison, Kathy, Kaitlin, Karoline, Kristen. Sorry Karoline I hope I spelled your name right.
We took the girls to see Twilight. Katelyn and her friends were so excited they could hardly sleep the night before. They all have been reading the book and LOVE the series. After we saw the movie Katelyn told me it was her very favorite and she would like it for Christmas. I told her she would have to wait a while before it hits DVD. Darn! We saw it at 12:30pm and it was showing in two theaters and they both were SOLD OUT.

The anticipation is over

The Twilight Movie
Twilight was awesome. I really liked it. I really liked Edward, Bella and James. Run to the movie theaters and get your tickets. Thanks to Melanie for setting everything up. It was another huge success. Dan and I went with Jess, Sean, Heidi, Aaron, Paisley and Craig. Yes we got the guys to go and they were not the only guys there. Yes they liked it, and yes they belined it for the car as fast as they could after. Dan had so much fun he left his vip card on. We got to see it at 7:00pm on Thursday the 20th. I just got back. Fun. Fun. Can't wait for NEW MOON. Hurry up.
Twilight Tonight
I'm so excited. It's tonight!!! The movie TWILIGHT. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I can't wait. Yipee. I feel like I'm sixteen again. Waiting for the time to arrive where my date comes to pick me up. Well I'm seeing it with my husband Dan. He's not quite as excited as I am. oh well! Atleast I got him to go.

August Sunflowers
I took these pictures in August 2008. There was a huge field by my house that was plum full of beautiful sunflowers. It glowed yellow. I couldn't resist and dressed the kiddies up to go play in the sunflowers. I played with the light and I love how the pictures turned out. I don't think the light always has to be perfect to have a beautiful photograph. There is something about twilight or (magic hour as nicole hill would say) that can bring the colors out in a photograph. If you are wondering why there are so many more pictures of Katelyn then Chase. It's because she is WILLING and he takes his two and is done. NO MORE MOM.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun

Katelyns Twelve,
Primrose Retreat
Katelyn turned twelve today. I can't believe it. It seemed like just yesterday she was born with lots of black, stick straight hair and dark skin, she looked just like a little Indian. So precious. She even smiled for her hospital picture. No lie. She really did. We took nine girls to Primrose Retreat for the Ooh La La Paris Party. It was fabulous. Primrose really made it wonderful. The girls put on a dancing fashion show, they sang karoke, had pedicures, got their hair done, made lip gloss, ate cupcakes and drank Strawberry Hot Chocolate. Yum. What a huge celebration. The day you were born was one of the happiest days of our lives.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATELYN
