More New Years "Rockin Eve"
Happy New Year! Even though it is almost March. Nothing better than banging pots and pans and sparklers to ring in the new year. Just like I used to do as a kid.

New Years
YES! The 80's Pre New Years Eve Party. OK I know we are Brillant. Having a Pre New Years party so we can spend New Years with the family. I know that is what you are thinking. Right. We had so much fun. There is nothing like getting together with friends and laughing until your insides hurt. The ones taking the picture didn't dress up. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

"Vintage"
I love anything and everything vintage. I bought this old hat at "Rocket Rebellion" just to take pictures in. (Love that store.) I love how they turned out. When I get a little more time I'm going to edit them in an old distressed layer. I will post it when I get a chance. Thanks Katelyn for always indulging me. Half the fun of taking pictures is thinking up the ideas. The wheels are always turning.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Valentines Day
Dan gave me a dozen of the most beautiful, red roses for Valentines Day. I love them Dan. He is so sweet and thoughtful. He bought them for me the day before Valentines because he is gone today having a father and son weekend.
Life is like a box of Chocolates

You never know what your going to get.

This is our family Valentine Card to the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. I thought it turned out so cute. I was worried it wouldn't make it. IT DID. Yea.

the icicle house
Labels:
Winter Jan 09

I found this old house right after it snowed. It had the coolest icicles, I just had to take pictures of. So I roped Katelyn, Chase, Frosty and Katelyns friends into taking pictures for me. Look how they turned out. OK, I know it's because the girls and boy are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO darling. I don't think they could take a bad picture. At least I haven't seen one. Katelyn and the girls have one other really close friend who couldn't come this day. We missed you kristen. I will be photoshopping her in later. Don't you love technology. Stay tuned, I have more to post. I couldn't pick just one.

Old Vintage Christmas
Labels:
More Christmas

My theme for this years Christmas book is Old Vintage Christmas. I have been making the pictures look worn and dated. Can't wait to start. I will post the book when I'm finished.
Chase and Frosty

I've had fun taking pictures of the cute little pup. He doesn't look loved does he? For those of you who don't know me very well. I was ANTI-DOGS. I didn't want one for nothing and I still don't but my kids would have been heart broken so it's good Santa brought the dog. They have been asking for one for about five years now. I swear Katelyn could be a dog whisperer. I'm going to get her on Jay Leno because she can bark just like a real dog. It's hilarous and you would never know it was her and not a real dog. Well Katelyn do we have enough pets now. We only have six horses, two frogs, a cat, and now a dog.

Sledding
Labels:
Winter Fun

I'm so behind on my pictures. We went sledding during the Christmas holiday and had so much fun. We took Bailey and Brad with us. The story behind the sleds. I went EVERYWHERE looking for sleds. If anyone has ever tried to find a sled right after Christmas they know what I'm talking about. After about the 5th store, I was walking out of big five. I had a sponge bob, water boogie board, in hand, and there in the window were two snow sleds. YAHOO! I returned sponge bob and bought the very last two snow sleds in the whole county. When Dan got home we loaded up and went sledding. Well after all the pain of walking, driving, fighting crowds, parking I indured, you look at the pictures and we didn't need a snow sled after all. Body sledding is the newest CRAZE who new.
