Basketball Champions Feb. 26, 2011

We are the Champions my friends. Okay as a mom I get to brag about my kid for a minute. Chases basketball team the FLASH took first place in the 3rd grade league. Not only did they take 1st place they were UNDEFEATED. YES THEY NEVER LOST ONE GAME. Wahoo. The best part is Chases coach named him MVP, yup MOST VALUABLE PLAYER. Chase I'm so proud of you. Good job little Jimmer. The coach also gave all the boys two tickets to the next college basketball game. Chase is taking Katelyn as his date. A big Thank You to Chases COACH you did a fantastic job and congrats on your WINNING SEASON.












Chase came to me this morning and told me he couldn't fit into his basketball shoes anymore and his toes were scrunched to the very end. I made him play with his scrunched toes because it was the last double header of the season. I didn't want to buy him a new pair of shoes just so he could out grow them before next year. Well anyway he played like a CHAMPION and didn't even complain until he got home and saw his big blisters on the ends of his toes. Sorry Chase but on the bright side, it didn't even slow you down.





I looked out my window this morning and what to my wondering eyes should appear? Okay I'm just waiting for the fat man and his eight tiny reindeer. Hello! Arctic weather I think it's supposed to be ALMOST SPRING. Will be posting Hawaii pictures tomorrow. You will enjoy them if where you live looks like this!

Maui, Hawaii Jan. 28-Feb. 5, 2011

Here is a post for all of you dreaming of a warmer climate. I live in the Arctic cold,(well thats how if feels.)and my husbands company went to Maui for there getway this year. It was so warm and amazing to have the sun beat down on my poor dried out skin. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. I just love Hawaii. Dans distributors are great too. Hope you feel a little refreshed when you get done looking at the warm, sunny pictures. Here is a teaser, I'm just getting started.

Here is the rest of our FUN, SUNDANCE weekend. The uncles took Katelyn snowboarding. Joel took off like an olympic skier, racing down the hill and Sam waited and skied down with Katelyn. When they finally caught up to Joel Katelyn goes "Joel you have to be safe and ski with a buddy!" and he replied "Katelyn the whole mountain is covered with people. I have plenty of buddies if I need one." I'm so glad I taught my daughter well. Doesn't that just sound like Joel? Thanks Sam for skiing with Katelyn. Dan and I didn't have the energy since we were dieting to lose weight for Hawaii. (That post is coming up.)










































I have been eating really healthy and all I have been able to think about is food. I bought this really cute cupcake maker. (Everyone should have one, they are so fun.) and entertained us all with the girls baking CUPCAKES. Okay eating them was the best. I didn't get to eat one of course but the SMELL was divine.

Sundance Jan 14-17 2011

I know I'm a brat what can I say? I've been enjoying some VACATION TIME. Dans Mom and Dad gave the family a great Christmas Gift. A trip to Sundance to stay for the weekend in a CABIN. Here comes the post. Abbie I know has been waiting for these sledding pictures for forever.
Can I just say I have the best in-laws a girl could ask for. Really we all have soooo much fun together. I have the pictures to prove it. Thanks for such a wonderful time. We sure made some wonderful memories. I know that sounds so cheesy to my ears too.

Look at the COMPLETE enjoyment on Abbie and Julie's faces. Sledding is for the Young of heart. They were BoOkINg it down the hill. They passed Jens, they passed Chase, they almost hit into me before CareENINg around the corner, falling off and getting totally PLASTERED with snow. Of Course I missed the getting Plastered with snow so I took the finished product and then we Re-created it. Ha ha ha soooo much fun.








I have no idea where Averi is in all the winter sledding fun. Sidney and Katelyn were the winners of All the races.
